We grow several types of Asian greens here on the farm, including bok choy, pak choi, and tatsoi.
Asian Greens are tasty blended into a salad or steamed lightly. Pak choi and Tatsoi greens are a staple for soups and stir fries all around the world. Add garlic and tamari for a lovely and flavourful side dish. These greens can be eaten raw too as they are young and tender. Due to their high water and nutrient content, Asian greens are ideal for juicing.
Asian greens are low in calories and fat, are packed full of anti-oxidants, and are particularly high in vitamins A and K and the minerals calcium and iron.
